At this moment we are looking for a React Rockstar to work on one of our most exceptional products that is literally redefining the journalist workflow for the TV industry; being used by very ambitious forward-leaning TV stations across the world.

Responsibilities

• Developing new user-facing features using React.js.
• Design components and libraries that are reusable and future-proof.
• Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
• Use your knowledge of React.js and its lifecycle to maximize component performance across devices and browsers.

Requirements

• Quick learner: You are open to learning and adapting new technologies quickly, as and when needed.
• Communication: You are able to communicate with our foreign counterparts across the globe on a daily basis in a clear and intelligible way, clarifying requirements as needed, to make sure we build the right product.
• Sense of ownership: You are able to take over responsibility for building and maintaining parts of a big project independently.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles.
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux).
• Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript.
• Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js).
• Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
• A knack for benchmarking and optimization
• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering.
